TENNESSEE'S FALLEN WORKERS

These are a few of the men and women that went to work in Tennessee and were fatally injured never going home to their families at the end of their shift. We remember, honor and recognize these men and women for their dedication and hardwork. We would like to sincerely thank the families that shared their loved one's picture and their tragic loss with USMWF.

 

peopleBrian Steven Isdell, 55

Brian was killed on the job in August 2009 while working for Nelson Trucking in Mountain City, Tennessee. He was attacked by teens which caused a heart attack.

Federal OSHA investigated the incident and proposed a $280.00 penalty for one other than serious violation. The penalty was not reduced.

----Brian was killed while long haul trucking and was pulled over in a parking lot when he was attacked by two teens and had a heart attack; he worked for Nelson Trucking Company, Mountain City, TN. He died from a heart attack following a violent attack by criminals. Truck driver’s brother speaks out.

peopleJ.P. Shelley, 42

J.P. was killed in October 2013 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was shot and robbed by 3 juvenile gang members working as a self-employed contractor at a residential property.

peopleCody Ryan Thorp, 24

Cody was killed in June 2015 while working at ThorSports Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He died after he was pinned beneath a Polaris ATV.

Federal OSHA investigated the incident and proposed a $4,000.00 penalty for one serious violation. The penalty or violation was not reduced.
