Workers Memorial Day In The Works

  • You may have noticed the newsletter has changed again and this was do to the unwanted use of  one of the mail groups so now the newsletter is in text but you may visit the site Support Line Newsletter (please note this will be a different link every month) to view the hyperlinks and and other resources.

  • We have finished the the "Resource Guide" for families, to get the extension on the resource guide, covers for the bill, resources and the condolence letter  please visit the "Family Packet".  We have also added the "USMWF Condolences Letter" for those who wish to send something to families during a loss and/or to attend WMD events.   It would be a good idea to send the resource guide if possible with the condolence letter to help the families during this time.   If you would like to change the Condolence Letter around some their is a word version here.   If you would like to be added to the list of contacts within the Resource Guide please do so before the press release is out (in possibly two weeks, at least one).  The more the merrier!

  • We are working on our yearly Workers Memorial Day Event List.  If you have an event please send us your event details so that we may post them on a master list.  It is imperative that we have these posted so that family members from surrounding areas may be able to attend and others may see what you are doing for the cause.

  • We have a new You Tube Channel with a new agenda.  The purpose of this channel is to make others aware of what your doing,  what you want changed, make others aware of WMD, and show our government we want change.  We have not added any videos at the moment but will do so soon so send them in please.

    Any individual or organizations is encouraged to send in a 2 to 3 minute video.  Videos may contain:
    * Personal Message.
    * What H&S changes you want..
    * What family rights you want..
    * How Your loss has effected your life.
    * WMD event details.
    * What WMD events have meant to you.
    * How you were involved in WMD events.
    * These are just a few basic ideas but you are not limited to these.

  • If you want to speak or need a speaker most have already been spoken for so please do so asap.

  • As always if you have any comments or suggestions please let us know.

  • Please take a few moments to show your support by sign the Combustible Dust Petition at the bottom of the page.  We need to get 500 signatures before the 10th.  The petition is also located on the Weekly Toll blog and USMWF.  We may leave it up a while longer but the goal is 500 by the 10th.
