Education and Activism Opportunity!!

H and S community in Denver on Nov. 4-7

USMWF was able to bring 13 family members to attend the National COSH meeting the Health and Safety Summit and meet with an amazing team at the Denver OSHA office, Region 8 . The Denver visit was a very unique because USMWF members have never meet with a Labor Liaison or a Solicitor of Labor.  USMWF has enjoyed many events and meetings with OSHA offices but felt this particular visit was a good start for new relationships and very informative.

~ In Loving Memory Of Burton Issac Reimer ~

October 23, 1999

Burton Issac Reimer

Burton Issac Reimer died while commercial fishing on Lake Winnipeg October 23, 1999. He was 17 years old.

I am his mother and a board member with Association for Workplace Tragedy Family Support in Canada. Better known as www.threadsoflife.ca

Each worker and family member who has been affected by a workplac3e tragedy is a thread in the quilt of life. Each thread, by itself, cannot stand alone, but when woven together provides strength. Although we are individuals, we are also connected in the fabric of life.

Thank you for the wonderful work that you are doing.

Sincerely;

Lynda Kolly
