The pandemic has put a halt on many events including our Washington, DC visit that we try to do yearly. This year we are not going to let COVID-19 stop us from making a difference and sharing our stories and experiences. We would like to plan a virtual trip to Washington, DC this year allowing us to connect and meet with our Federal Representatives (Senators and Congressmen/Congresswomen), AFL-CIO Coordinators, Department of Justice and more.
We will host a one day virtual Washington, DC trip in March (date to be determined) and would like to invite many of you to join us. Everyone of you deserves to be heard, however we want to make sure our conversation matches what is being heard in Washington, DC so you can make changes and gain awareness to issues and concerns that are happening across our Nation. You are the voice that needs to be heard.
To collaborate and make sure this virtual trip is successful it takes a lot of work. If you are interested in joining and representing USMWF please complete the form below and submit it. This will help us determine who we need to make an appointment with and the issues we want to discuss.
Those that are chosen to join must be aware that we will have required meetings prior to our virtual trip and are all required to participate in all meetings on those two days. We feel it is very important that everyone shows at every meeting supporting each other throughout the day.
