Patrick never complained about his responsibility of providing. Providing for his family was his purpose.

He would introduce me to everyone as his "beautiful wife, Mary" and would tell anyone the latest story of one of his kids. He told everyone "Love ya!" as he would leave or say goodbye.

He appreciated God's blessings and creation. He was, indeed, one of the good ones. Everything for me has lost meaning and sense. He balanced me. He kept me grounded. He convicted me and loved me unconditionally.

The world is a darker place without Patrick in it. He was, without exaggeration, an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coworker, and friend. Patrick was kind, thoughtful, sincere, funny, compassionate, and gave so much love. We miss him terribly.

I will keep fighting for him and for change. Safety in the workplace must be top priority. I will make him proud
